Welcome to the Utah Helicopter Association!

Who We Are

The Utah Helicopter Association is currently based in northern Utah County, but we welcome pilots from any part of the state or world. We are dedicated to the hobby of Radio Control Helicopters, both the machine and the pilot. We accomplish this goal through education, training, and flying. It is the goal of the club that each pilot can build, maintain, and fly their own helis and find success in whatever type of flying they desire.. Through doing this, each member will be enjoying the full spectrum of the hobby. By sharing knowledge and experience with anyone that asks, we hope to bring more people into this great hobby.

Club History

The club has been in existence for over 11 years now. The club was basically founded by John Morgan and Kym Thompson. These two pilots kept the club alive over the lean years, and at times were the only two members!! Kym said once that when John took a break from helis he was the whole club himself!! Thanks to these two men for keeping things going. Now the club has gained momentum and a number of very dedicated members.
