Vernon Loop

I made what I am calling the Vernon Loop on Sunday, I am looking forward to going back and doing some hiking. I had plans of just going to Vernon Reservoir for some relaxing fishing. When I got there there were probably 30-40 people there fishing all arounnd the reservoir which is only about 20 acres. I stopped and tried some fly fishing but I was on the wrong side casting into the wind, do I just threw in some power bait for a while. It was pretty windy and I didn't have any bites so after about 20 minutes I headed further up the road and made a loop through Black Rock Canyon. It was a fun drive, I think I will go back next weekend and make some stops to go hiking and place a few geocaches
